Issued in: "Stieler's Hand Atlas", published by Justus Perthes', Gotha, Germany

Date: 1909

Description: A beautiful and good quality original COLOURED map showing this fantastic part of the world as it appeared in 1909. Includes Southern Brazil, (Goy, Sao Paulo, Parana, Minasgeraes, Bahia), and parts of Paraguar. Also the under sea routes of Cables. WONDERFUL RICH COLOURS, and amazing attention to detail, showing many towns that are not covered in maps of a similar age. This is an original map that is over 99-years old! A wonderful map with real attention to detail. This is not only a great work of art it is also a fantastic record of history, showing how the area has changed over the years.

A beautiful map which would look fantastic framed and on display, either by itself or as part of a set.

Size: Map measures: c. 40cm x 33cm / 16" x 13"
Whole page including map and margins - c. 49cm x 40cm / 19" x 16"

Condition: Very Good. There are some very slight age related marks, but these do not impact on the print.
Being over two pages, there is a natural fold down the centre line.
There is text on the back relating to the map. (details can be sent on request)
