There is a map of Bolivia on the back. There is no show through or 'bleed'.

PROVENANCE: Published by R. W. Forsyth Ltd, who were a firm of 'Home & Overseas Outfitters', with large stores in Glasgow & Edinburgh, Scotland. It appears to be from a promotional atlas issued to commemorate their 25th anniversary. Printed by W. & A. K. Johnston. Advertising logos appear on virtually all the maps.
CATEGORIES: We classify this under Atlas Maps, plans, charts & cartography. (Also of Scottish interest).
GENERAL CONDITION: Good. Please refer to the scan, even though this does not do justice to the attractive colors.
REMARKS: A scarce map not easy to find. The Logos could be matted out when framing, but I suggest they are better displayed, so as to show not just the source, but the rather unique advertising element in the map, which is most unusual.
I have checked the Internet, but have been unable to find any previous examples of maps used as a promotion, which makes this particularly interesting.
