SNAP ON TOOL BOX.

for any body who is viewing this again for the second time I forgot to mention that the box comes complete with a nylon cover.
it is black with red pipping and has the 40th anniversary shield on it as well as the slogan "still the choice .... of better technicians"
This cover covers the box completely and is a genuine snap on product.
I will be posting some tools for sale shortly, mostley snap on, some really good bargains.

IT IS A LIMITED ADDITION 40TH ANNIVERSARY SNAP ON TOOL BOX.
SOLID BLACK OUTER DOUBLE LINE SHELL
METALLIC RED ROLLER BEARING 'LOCK AND ROLL' DRAWS
SOFT RUBBER LOCKABLE CASTORS FOR EASY MANUVARIBILITY.

THE 'LOCK AND ROLL DRAW' FEATURE IS A SLIDING MECHANISM THAT HOLDS THE
DRAW CLOSED UNLESS A SMALL CATCH IS PUSHED TO ONE SIDE FIRST. BENEFITS
OF THIS ARE THAT THE DRAW DOES NOT SLIDE OPEN WHEN THE BOX IS PUSHED
AROUND THE GARAGE.
THE LOCKABLE LID OPENS ON TWO GAS STRUTS (LIKE A TAILGATE ON A CAR)
THE TOP SECTION BOLTS DIRECTLY ONTO THE BOTTOM WITH A RUBBER MAT
SANDWICHED INBETWEEN.
THERE IS A FREE TOOL SHELF SUPPLIED WITH THE BOX (WHICH RETAILS AT
AROUND £80) IT BOLTS DIRECTLY TO THE SIDE OF THE LOWER UNIT.

THE BOXES COME WITH TWO SETS OF KEYS, PAPERWORK, SNAP ON BLACK TOUCH
UP PAINT AND RECEIPT OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE AND
INSTRUCTION/MAINTENENCE LEAFLETS.

I HAVE OWNED THIS BOX FROM BRAND NEW. IT WAS BOUGHT FROM MY LOCAL
SNAP ON DEALER IN 2005. IT HAS BEEN VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER. REGULARLY
CLEANED AND POLISHED. THE DRAWERS WHERE ALWAYS KEPT WELL OILED
THE BOX HAS BEEN FULLY CLEANED INSIDE AND OUT AND THEN POLISHED.

THE ONLY REASON THE BOX IS UP FOR SALE IS THAT I HAVE NOW LEFT THE
MOTOR TRADE AND IT IS NOT PRACTICAL TO KEEP THE BOX AT HOME, IT'S
JUST TOO BIG.
THER IS LITTLE SCRATCHES HERE AND THER BUT VERY MINOR. THERE IS ONE DENT
ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE WHICH I HAVE SHOWN ON THE IMAGES. THIS IS NOT
THAT BAD BUT I JUST WANT TO BE HONEST.
