SME MOUNTING PLATE FOR TECHNICS 1200 1210 TURNTABLES.

New Improved version of our popular Technics / SME Plate

This new version addresses some arm height problems that a few customers experienced with the old model and allows correct VTA to be acheived on all decks

This high quality military spec aluminium mounting plate is ideal for anyone wishing to replace their original Technics arm with an SME 3009 tone-arm onto Technics turntable models - SL1200 (not MKI),  SL1210 and any Technics deck that has an arm mount that is the same shape as our plate and uses 3 screws to secure it to the deck. It automatically positions the arm at the correct mounting distance. This plate is 120 mm diameter so please check that your recess is big enough to accept this size as some early decks require plates that are 117 mm diameter.

With a slight modification this Plate is suitable for the newer SME arms such as - Series M2, Series 300, Series IV and Series V. Please let us know if you wish to mount one of these arms so we can modify to accept the bigger screw size required. 

The plate is manufactured to tight tolerances and has an extremely high quality finish.

Comes with screws for securing arm to plate and screws,nuts and washers for fixing the plate to the turntable.
