This Pentax offers superb performance under all conditions with excellent resolution, sharpness, contrast and control of flare. The quality of your images when taken with this lens may surprise you. SMC stands for Super-Multi-Coated, it is a lens coating developed by Pentax that reduces flare, improves contrast and allows more light to reach the film, resulting in better images.
Compatibility with Cameras:
Fully compatible with both PENTAX 35mm and DIGITAL SLRs: PENTAX *ist D, DS/DS2, DL/DL2, K10D, K100D, K110D or SAMSUNG GX series digital SLRs. The 'A' setting on the aperture ring gives automatic aperture control with all modern PENTAX SLR cameras. This lens is fully compatible with all PENTAX 'A', 'P', 'SF', 'Z/PZ', 'MZ' and *ist series camera bodies (i.e. PROGRAM A (Program Plus), SUPER A (Super Program), A3, A3000, P3, P30, P5, P50, SFX, SFXn, SF7, PZ-1, PZ-10, PZ-20, MZ-S, MZ-3, MZ-5, MZ-6, MZ-30, MZ-50, *ist D, *ist DS/DS2, *ist DL/DL2, K10D, K100D, K110D and SAMSUNG GX Series). It can also be used with older PENTAX K bayonet mount cameras where it will operate as a traditional manual aperture operated lens without an 'A' setting (i.e. K1000, KM, K2, KX, MG, MV, MV-1, MX, LX, ME, ME Super, ME-F). Condition of Lens:
Clean optics but very bad cosmetic and mechanical condition. Spares or repair only.
