This 200mm lens offers a superb performance under all conditions with excellent resolution, sharpness, contrast and control of flare. A very high quality telephoto prime lens on the 67 and 6X7 Pentax medium format cameras. The quality of your images when taken with this lens may surprise you especially if compared to images taken with the majority of consumer/prosumer zoom lenses. Pentax have always produced fantastic lenses and this is one of the best. Super-Multi-Coated, it is a lens coating developed by Pentax that reduces flare, improves contrast and allows more light to reach the film or digital sensor, resulting in better images. Pentax claims that SMC is "a remarkable seven-layer lens coating process that cuts the reflection ratio down to just 0.2% per lens surface. The result is a dramatic improvement in both color fidelity and brightness and the elimination of flare and ghost images."

The lens is in superb optical and mechanical condition. No fungus or hazing. The glass is clear and scratch free! The barrel and mount show a few signs of use but does not affect the performance of this great lens in any way (check pictures of the actual lens). Complete with rear and front caps.
