Victorian  mother of pearl coin purse.  Lined inside in red lining.  one side of the mother of pearl has been hand painted but some of the painting has rubbed off.   there is a crack on one side in the mother of pearl, or a join, I'm not sure which.  Lovely old vintage item.  The coin purse measures 2.25 x 1.75 inches (6x 4.5 cm)
