THIS IS A SEED THAT HAS BEEN HOLLOWED OUT AND CONTAINS 14 CARVED ANIMALS (I THINK THEY ARE BONE BUT I AM NOT CERTAIN). THERE IS A FAMILY OF 4 ELEPHANTS AND A GIRAFFE AND 9 OTHERS. THE SEED MEASURES APPROX' 9 mm x 5 mm AND HAS A SMALL STOPPER WHICH FITS WELL. I HAVE HAD THIS FOR ABOUT 35 YEARS AND I AM NOT SURE OF THE AGE BUT I THINK IT MAY BE FROM THE TURN OF THE CENTURY. IT COMES WITH ANOTHER SLIGHTLY BIGGER SEED THAT IS UNTOUCHED. THE FIRST PICTURE SHOWS THEM ON A 5 PENCE PIECE AND THE SECOND ON A 50 PENCE PIECE. YOU HAVE TO USE GOOD TWEEZERS (AND A STEADY HAND)TO PUT THE ANIMALS BACK INTO THE SEED.! I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER ONE.
