BEAUTIFUL SMALL CASE BOTTLE

EMBOSSED

"DE KUYPER'S SQUAREFACE"

Also, embossed on the side panel, diagonally, with

"WHO DE KUYPER'S NIGHTLY TAKES, SOUNDLY SLEEPS AND FIT AWAKES"

Suggesting that this may have been  a Tonic / Fortified Wine.

This bottle has been moulded on the diagonal, has a very neatly applied long lip.  The base shows lovely striations in the glass.  It is in perfect condition, no chips, cracks or scratches.

It is a very deep olive green colour, almost black.

On one panel, right at the base, is a tiny embossed Number 4

 



 
Stands just short of 9" tall, each side has shoulders of 2.5" wide at widest point, tapering down to just 1.5" at the base.
 
AN INTRIGUING AND VERY COLLECTABLE LITTLE CASE BOTTLE.
