SMA LF is a clinically lactose-free milk-based formula for babies who are intolerant to lactose, a natural milk-sugar which is found in breast milk and most infant milks. Temporary lactose intolerance can be triggered by an episode of gastroenteritis and can result in symptoms such as diarrhoea, vomiting, tummy ache and wind and usually lasts for four to eight weeks, although it can last longer.

SMA LF is nutritionally complete for up to 6 months of age, so your baby will receive all the nutrients needed for healthy growth and development - only without the lactose which may be upsetting the tummy
