·         The SLENDERTONE electrode pads ensure the electrical current from the shorts passes safely and comfortably into your body. These replacement pads are brand new, in factory sealed bags. The pads will have a minimum of 12 months shelve life left. The instructions for use are included on the packaging.

How it works.

By using C.S.I. technology the Slendertone^® belts can stimulate the muscles. The stimulation is applied to the areas where the muscle nerves are concentrated close together. The electrodes are made from a special medical grade “hydro gel”. This gel is able to comfortably conduct electricity from the garment into your body.

There are several layers in the gel. The layer beside the shorts has stronger adhesive properties. This is so the pads stick to the shorts more than your skin. In the center there is a special carbon impregnated layer. This has a silver ink grid printed on it. This grid ensures that the electrical current is evenly spread over the electrode. The even spread of current prevents “Hot spots” and uncomfortable stinging.

The Slendertone flex pads are from the original manufacturer. The pads carry the CE symbol and also conform to the requirements of the Medical Device Directive (93/42/EEC). They are latex free.
