SIr Walter Scott - English BRASS COTTAGE DOOR KNOCKER

A good Solid Cast Brass ENGLISH COTTAGE DOOR KNOCKER - Sir Walter Scott - Author. This is a very nice brass knocker of elegant form and with a portrait of the famous Scottish Writer Sir Walter Scott as the hammer bar. Scott was famous for his Waverly novels and such stories as 'Ivanhoe' and 'Coral Island' and this would be a very nice addition to the front door of anyone who appreciates great Scottish literature. It measures 4 1/4" tall by 1 7/8" wide, and looks to have been unused although having a good aged patina to the surface.
