SINGLE MOTORCYCLE TRAILER carries Moto Guzzi California

Relisted due to timewaster.  Single motorcycle trailer built from a Mini subframe.  Total length  286 CM.  Lighting board included in sale.  Be warned!  This trailer does the job but it is a complete heap of junk.  I bought it for less than £100 on eBay three years ago to collect a full dress Moto Guzzi T-3 California I had also bought on eBay.  I needed a motorcycle trailer in a hurry and this one did the job. 

I drove nearly 200 miles to collect the Moto Guzzi and when loaded and unloaded the trailer performed well.  On the return journey it was easy to forget the loaded trailer was there.  Since then I have carried various bikes in and around London and towed another full dress Moto Guzzi T-3 California to Ireland and back with absolutely no problems.

BAD POINTS.  I had to reverse the wheels to stop them rubbing on the subframe but this problem could be sorted by using spacers,  Strange assortment of nuts on the wheel studs.  The threads on the bolt that holds on the bottom of one of the dampers are worn but the damper stays in place.  The wheel bearings are probably worn but seem OK at the moment.  No loading ramp.  No spare wheel.

This old trailer has served me well.  I bought a brand new bike trailer last summer so this old one has to go as I need the space it is taking up.  If you need a cheap bike trailer in a hurry or you can do the work to sort it out then this may be just the job.  I bought this trailer for less than £100 without lights and I am including the lighting board I bought for it.  One red triangle is missing from the lighting board, (but I may find it before the auction ends) and only the right light/indicator cluster is working at present. I imagine this can be easily sorted because both light clusters were working the last time I used this trailer to carry a bike.  Please note there is no loading ramp.  No ramp came with the trailer when I bought it and I made one out of a plank of wood which seems to have got lost because I cannot find it.
