SILVER & TIGERS EYE TUAREG BRACELET - AFRICAN JEWELLERY

This stunning bracelet comes from Niger, West Africa and has been handmade to an incredibly high standard by Tuareg silversmiths. The Tuareg are a semi-nomadic people who have lived in the Sahara Desert for hundreds of years. Detailed with traditional decorative patterns and inlaid with a beautiful tigers eye stone, their silver jewellery is worn as a sign of status and wealth, traditionally gold is deemed to bring back luck. This bracelet has an internal diameter of 65mm and the opening is approximately 29mm but the nature of the design does allow for a degree of adjustment by the wearer. The silver used in our jewellery is not the mixture of silver and nickel that is used in a lot of cheaper Tuareg jewellery, it is pure silver which has a clean and bright appearance and obviously a much higher value.
