SILVER & EBONY TUAREG EARRINGS - AFRICAN JEWELLERY

These beautifully hand crafted silver earrings are made by Tuareg artisans in Niger, West Africa. The intricate workmanship is quite stunning and they are inlaid with layers of African Ebony hardwood using the traditional ‘sandwich’ method. Each pair is, by nature of its handmade quality, quite unique and stunningly elegant. They measure approximately 50mm in length and are designed for pierced ears. The silver used in our jewellery is not the mixture of silver and nickel that is used in a lot of cheaper Tuareg jewellery, it is pure silver which has a clean and bright appearance and obviously a much higher value. This is a beautiful example of original ethnic African jewellery.
