This beautifully hand crafted Tisek ring is made from silver, agate and african ebony hardwood by Tuareg artisans in Niger, West Africa. The setting consists of a beautiful semi-circular red agate stone. The intricate detailing in the silverwork is tremendous and makes this ring, by nature of its handmade quality quite unique and absolutely stunning. The Tuareg are a semi-nomadic people who have lived in the Sahara desert for hundreds of years, they wear silver jewellery as a symbol of wealth and status, traditionally gold is deemed to bring bad luck! Tisek rings are passed between men and women as a sign of affection. This ring is approximately UK size U (US size 10 1/4).
