SIGNED OIL PAINTING IN AN EXCELLENT VICTORIAN ROCOCO GILT FRAME

90cm x 74cm

Still life on canvas signed Molnath or something like this, difficult to read.

The frame has at some time undergone some restoration but this needs renewing, and there are one or two small pieces missing.    Has at some time been re-gilded but this now needs renovating.  Plaster moulding on a pitch pine frame.

Despite the need for restoration this is a magnificent old frame and would look stunning if restored well.

I do not know the age of the painting but am told that it may be of German origin.

White marks on the painting are reflections of camera flash, the painting is in very good condition with no marks or damage.
