FSE POWER BOOST VALVE KIT

(RISING RATE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR)

SUITABLE FOR:

  • SIERRA / SAPPHIRE COSWORTH 2WD ONLY

This regulator is designed for use on electronic fuel injected engines. The regulator features a unique fuel enrichment facility for acceleration known as a Rising Fuel Rate. The enrichment rate is 1.7:1. (standard regulator 1:1)

Standard regulators increase the fuel pressure under acceleration at a rate directly proportional to the manifold pressure (1:1).

 This "Rising rate" regulator increases the fuel pressure at the higher rate of 1.7 times the manifold pressure. This is particularly beneficial if free flowing air filters, exhausts etc. have been fitted allowing the engine to consume more air.

The benefits this offers are:

  • Quicker throttle responce
  • Faster acceleration
  • Idle & fuel economy unaffected on light throttle

The kit includes:

  • adjustable alloy regulator
  • mounting bracket
  • nuts/bolts/washers/fixings
  • fitting/tuning instructions
  • blanking plug for fuel pressure gauge port

Suitable for use on standard, tuned & motorsport vehicles.

A small liquid filled fuel pressure gauge can be fitted to this regulator - available separately (£19.99)
