Poor This is a fragile book and although it is OK at the moment the binding is poor and likely to give way. Front cover is worn, torn and detached. Back cover is worn and torn and sun damaged. Spine is worn and torn and previous owner has writtten a useful tittle. The edges of some pages are torn. Pages are untrimmed. Text is not blemished..

The Shropshire Parish Register Society has transcribed many parish registers in the county of Shropshire and in the Dioceses of Hereford, Lichfield and St Asaph. Initially they were published in paperback form and as each volume was completed, members bound these into a hardback binder. In the paperback form they consisted of the transcript of the register itself; title pages and indexes of various registers. Each diocese has its own sequence of volumes.
