GENUINE1920'S AVON SHOE POLISH ADVERTISING SIGN/FINGERPLATE COMPLETE WITH AN ORGINAL EXAMPLE OF THE VERY TIN OF POLISH IT ADVERTISES (THE TIN HAS NOT HAD POLISH IN IT).

 THE SIGN IS 25.5CM HIGH 7.6CM WIDE

AND THE TIN IS 5.5CM DIAMETER

A SMALL AMOUNT OF THESE TINS AND SIGNS WERE FOUND, WRAPPED IN NEWSPAPER FROM THE 1920'S

IN THE ATTIC OF A SHOP IN EVESHAM, THE SHOP USED TO BE WHEATLEY'S SHOE SHOP, MANY YEARS AGO.

I WOULD DESCRIBE THEM AS BEING IN GOOD, BUT NOT PERFECT CONDITION.

THE METAL SIGN ALONE CAN BE SEEN IN MILLERS COLLECTABLES 2005 (PG 18) WITH A VALUE OF £50-£55.
