Description

The Object of the Game is to Race the Yachts From the Starting Line,Anti Clockwise Round the Course,and Into the Harbour.

You Must Leave All the Buoys on the Port Side,as Indicated by the Arrows on the Chart.

The Moves Are Controlled by Specially Designed Cards,But Are Subject to the Influence of the Wind,the Direction of Which is Indicated by a Special Wind Top.

The Essence of the Game as in Actual Sailing Lies -

1. In Tacking Against the Wind.

2. In Blanketing One's Opponent(Coming Between Them and the Wind,Thus Taking the Wind Out of Their Sails).

The Board is in Reasonable Condition For the Age - Minor Wear to the Spine,Some Marks,Discolour and is a Little Warped - Still Looks Pretty Good However.

The Built in Movable Arrow Works Well.

The Back of the Board Has a Few Marks and Scuffing to the Edges and Corner's.

The Playing Pieces Are Made of Lead I Believe and Are in Good Order.

The Cards Are Scuffed and Discoloured.

The Wind Top is in Good Order - Works Well.

The Rules Have Discolour and Are Creased.

The Game is Complete.

The Box Base Scuffing,Discolour,Mark's and Tape - Still Sturdy.

The Lid Has Split Corner's and Sides,Scuffing,Discolour and Tape - Still Looks Good.

This Very Rare Game is in Good Condition.

The Contents Are Good For the Age.
