SHAW HANDMADE SOPRANO D WHISTLE
 
Dave Shaw has been hand-making the finest smallpipes and whistles in Country Durham, England for over 25 years. His instruments are highly regarded as among the best available by musicians the world over.  Rothesay Music is pleased to offer Dave Shaw Whistles among our range of fine products for the discerning musician.  We believe these are the finest whistles on the market. Yes, they are a little more expensive than your run-of-the-mill “penny” or “tin whistle”, but as with any musical instrument, you get what you pay for.
 
SHAW whistles are a sweet-toned instrument, individually voiced and accurately tuned to give maximum performance. The whistle is a tapered design, handmade in solid nickel silver sheet with a carved hardwood block to form the mouthpiece. Length 29cm. They are constructed using lead-free solder. Supplied with rigid protective storage case.
