Bio treatment plants work on the natural process of Biological oxidation of micro organisms witch utilize organic matter as a food source and need a oxygen source provided by the air pump. The air pump pushes air into the center draft tube witch in turn  moves the effluent in the chamber to help break down the solids. the outflow is then 90% clean  and possible for draining in watercourse . Solids have to be emptied out depending on use (3-5 years ) Maintenance is down to a few mins  a year just clean out the scum line in the chamber witch can be done by a competent person diy or you can buy our maintenance cover starting from  three years for a sum of £150.00  (depending on location)
