SET 6 Silver 1844 KINGS Crested Teaspoons 211g!!

WHAT GREAT EARLY VICTORIAN TEASPOONS!!

THEY ARE MUSEUM QUALITY.

Here we have a quite exceptional FULL SET of 6 solid silver teaspoons.Hallmarks are deep and clear. 

Each is assayed in London by good makers Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater.  

All are year letter j for 1844/5.One is letter k but the year letters overlap so they are same date. 

All are delightful pieces!

This lovely set is of exceptional quality and each is a most delightful piece of table silver.

Weight of actual silver is a most substantial 211 grams (6.78 troy ounces),each piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout.One rarely sees teaspoons weighing an ounce each. 

Each spoon is 5.75 inches in length.They are really big and heavy! 

The condition is AMAZING,bowls are of excellent shape. 

Teaspoons in this condition are highly rare.

Each is engraved with a most beautiful animal head crest and always has been,definitely no erasures either.

The pattern is KINGS double struck,this is a highly popular and sought after traditional pattern.
