Self-Amalgamating Tape, A Must For All Ham & CB Enthusiasts.
A very useful derivative of insulating tape which can be used for waterproofing and sealing external connections and joints. To use, the top protective layer is peeled off and the rubbery self- amalgamating tape underneath is stretched and wrapped tightly around the connection or joint to be waterproofed. Eventually, the layers of this tape will merge together and create a waterproof seal. This tape is highly recommended for automotive work and also aerial installations, particularly those for satellite TV where cables enter the LNB and polariser. suitable for all outdoor insulation, sealing, splicing and cable repairs. The tape is black, 19 mm wide and is supplied on big 10 metre reels. Manufactured to approved B.T. spec M128.
