In a weightless underwater environment it is virtually impossible to cut yourself out of a net with just a knife, even cutting a rope becomes a difficult task. If you use a line cutter you end up by pulling yourself about rather than cutting the net but with safety shears it is easy to cut lines and nets with just one hand, they will even cut wire fishing trace. If you are ever wrapped up in a net these will get you out of that difficult situation.

These shears come complete with a sheath which has a clip to attatch it to a D ring on your BC. They are easily removed from the sheath with one quick jerk but are held firmly in place when not in use.

The shears are 19cm long and made from quality stainless steel.
