VINYL CONDITION
This is, quite simply, a shining example of a fantastically well cared for piece of vintage great quality vinyl. There are basically no negatives to comment on; there are no marks, scratches, defects, paper scuffs, excessive spindle wear (this record looks like it has only been played once, twice at most), audio interference like crackle or bad pops or clicks (there may have been the odd faint one but I didn’t spot any) or indeed any other sign of age or wear that could cause me to even consider giving this record a lower grade than Near Mint. It really is that good, and as I have stated in past descriptions, the best possible grade I could give this record is Near Mint because it has been played, and I believe a record is no longer ever Mint if it has been played, even just once! So there you are, a fantastic example of a Near Mint album of a fine vintage is what we have to offer here.
SOUND
There are absolutely no problems to report with the sound at all. The album starts off, both sides, with silent run-in grooves and plays through with brilliant quality audio all the way. I do not recall hearing a pop or a click anywhere, if there were any they were very faint and only the type you can easily get on brand new vinyl. Basically the album is in perfect, well cared for, working order with no faults whatsoever!
COVER TYPE
Nice thick gatefold sleeve with one side opening
COVER CONDITION
This is a fantastically well looked after, heavy duty gatefold sleeve. Taking into account its general all over state of well being, it has to be given a grade of Near Mint. The sleeve displays no un-splitting and remains fully intact. The artwork still looks sensational and has not been defaced with any writing or sticker removal, this is an exceptionally well cared for sleeve. The edges are all smooth and un-scuffed and the spine has remained firm with clearly legible text. The vinyl has not engraved any ring-wear into the sleeve at all; there aren’t even any circular impressions to mention. This is a great looking album cover that has been maintained to the highest standard.

FRUIT TREE
This is my new Ebay outlet for rare and classic vinyl artefacts in the fields of Rock, Garage Rock, Psych, Folk, Acid Folk, Indie-Alt, Singer-Songwriter, real-deal country, rock’n’roll & doo-wop and anything that’s cool and scarce on round wax! I have a particular emphasis on the period 1966-1972 and a fondness for the Island, Harvest, Immediate, Vertigo, Charisma and Transatlantic labels, particularly from the period specified above but also on other smaller obscure labels and the cool later stuff you’ll find at places like 4AD too! I’m basically on a perpetual voyage of discovery, as you are I should think if you’ve read this far, and it’s always a case of anything unusual, weird and wonderful considered!
I strongly believe that any great music from the 60s and 70s was made for vinyl and simply has to be heard this way; it’s the format the music was made for and the difference in sound to an original vinyl pressing to a CD issue is often astounding! I take this vinyl affection through to the best new music as well, and to this day prefer to hear a great new album on a vinyl pressing if one is available. To this end, Fruit Tree Records on Ebay will from time to time unearth newer vinyl treasures as well as vintage ones for your delight.
I will always play grade my records and endeavour to describe them with 100% accuracy so that you know everything you need to know; there’s nothing to hide so please e-mail me any questions. I know from my years of collecting how important a detailed description is when buying over the internet. I shall offer a money back guarantee on any legitimate complaint, this will only be refused if the buyer didn’t read something I clearly stated in the description or simply decides they don’t like the music. Finally, I hope you find something through my Ebay portal that you like.
