Description

A scarce early patent stick stopper bottle which reads BARRETT & CO PATENT STOPPER TRADE MARK MANCHESTER around the bottom reads LUMB & CO MAKERS CASTLEFORD and on the back reads BARRETT & ELERS PATENT LONDON, this is a scarce and desirable bottle dates to the mid 1870s, the wooden stick stopper is in good condition, not bad after 130 years!!,

23.5cm high (approx.).

Condition

No cracks, there is a chip and bruise on the inside of the lip and a half burst air bubble on the bottom, in need of a good clean as there is some internal residue staining inside the bottle.
