 SCABBARD FOR A US TYPE  BAYONET .or FIGHTING KNIFE.. .. A variant in that the usual double hook belt attachment has been removed and replaced with a webbing belt loop. The 'roller ' mounting for the original belt hook is still present. Width of belt loop 2.5 inches.  Length of scabbard body 7.5 inches , overall length 11.5 inches . Green painted rubberised canvas composition body with some scuffing of paint finish ,  khaki web belt loop. Very good condition for age.
