 SAUNDERS ROE R 103 HYDROFOIL BLUEPRINT AND ENGINEERS NOTEBOOK.

 

A  blueprint of the general arrangement of the craft and an engineers notebook with approximately  30 pages of general build notes.

The notebook is dated from March 1955 to April 1956

A concept craft built by Saunders-Roe in support of the Canadian hydrofoil development programme.

The drawing is faded but still readable, it has a couple of small edge tears,

This item is from a large and important collection of material from the estate of a naval architect. The collection includes original drawings, tracings, drawing office copies, blueprints and associated items. Dating from 1917 through to the 1980’s the range of vessels includes Dinghy’s, Runabouts, Sea Sled's, Chris craft, Hydroplanes, Lifeboats, MTB’s, MGB’s, Minesweeper’s, Hydrofoils, Birmabright Boats, Hovercraft and a few others! As there is in excess of 1000 items this could take some time!
