QUINTESSENTIALLY ENGLISH AND MADE BY NONE OTHER THAN "SANDERSON", THESE ARE KNOWN AS "ENGLISH GARDEN" AND ARE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD; WHILST VINTAGE, THEY ARE IN WONDERFUL AND CLEAN, READY TO HANG CONDITION AND HAVE THE BENEFIT OF BLANKET INTERLINING TO KEEP OUT THOSE DRAUGHTS (AND ALSO THE SUN & HEAT IN THE SUMMER TIME).

EACH CURTAIN HAS OFF WHITE/BEIGE SLIGHTLY SUN FADED COTTON LININGS, MEASURES 100" WIDTH IN TOTAL ACROSS THE BOTTOMS. THE TOPS HAVE STANDARD 3" HEADERS AND WHILST THE STRINGS HAVE BEEN PULLED SLIGHTLY AND TIED, THEY WILL OBVIOUSLY UNDO TO RELEASE THE REMAINDER OF THIS DELIGHTFUL FABRIC, TO MATCH THE BOTTOM WIDTHS. THEY MEASURE 86" DROP (LENGTH) AND HAVE A FURTHER 3" CURRENTLY TURNED UP HEM, SHOULD YOU NEED A LITTLE MORE FABRIC.

THERE ARE NO HOLES, TEARS, STAINS, OR FADING - THESE ARE CLEAN AND COULD BE HUNG AS THEY ARE

I WOULD WARN THAT THEY ARE VERY HEAVY AND WILL NEED A GOOD STRONG STURDY POLE FROM WHICH TO HANG

I prefer Bank Transfer (email for account & sort code please), as this is free and obviously secure. However, I also accept PayPal, uncrossed postal orders, cheques, registered cash, or cash upon collection from my property located centrally in RG1. PAYMENT TO BE MADE WITHIN TWO DAYS OF AUCTION ENDING PLEASE.

My Goods

Please be aware a lot of my goods that I sell are VINTAGE and therefore may not be in “perfect” or in “as new condition” unless otherwise stated. Therefore, they may have marks commensurate with age or how they have been stored over the years; for example, the odd stitch may be undone or loose on curtains, bedding or table linen etc., and silver may have the odd scratch here or there. I do try to give accurate descriptions in my listings but am happy to answer any queries you may have prior to bidding. I do have two huge tom cats but they are not permitted to roam free in the house and only have the use of two rooms where goods that I am selling are not situated in. There is no smoke in our house either. Please ask any questions prior to bidding on my goods.

My Family used to own an Antiques Shop in nearby Henley-on-Thames and I have always had a passion for anything vintage; be it porcelain, silver, fabric, furniture etc ~ we still have stock that has yet to be sold and so please do keep an eye on my listings.

Fees

The cost of all packaging materials and my handling fees are included within the delivery charges, as stated in the listing.

Shipping

All parcels are despatched using ROYAL MAIL 1ST CLASS post or more usually, PARCELFORCE48 if parcels are bulky and heavy. Occasionally, I will use ROYAL MAIL STANDARD PARCELS or ROYAL MAIL RECORDED DELIVERY but and this will be stated in the listing, where applicable. I ALWAYS RETAIN PROOF OF POSTING AND RETAIN THESE FOR APPROX. 2 MONTHS AFTER AUCTION ENDS.

I ship worldwide for most items (unless extremely heavy curtains, bedding etc) but you will need to contact me PRIOR TO BIDDING for shipping costs. Country House Delights aims to ship all goods normally well within 4 working days of purchase. I can ship the next day if your goods are urgent, but you will need to INFORM ME OF THIS REQUEST if your purchase is urgent, as I do work as well and lead an extremely busy life with my Family.

Delivery

All my goods are extremely well packaged using brand new strong parcel sacks and plenty of bubble wrap and newspaper for delicate items (see old feedback) and despatched within four working days of cleared funds (see above "Shipping" for more information).

Refunds & Returns

A FULL REFUND WILL BE ISSUED IF THE ITEM IS NOT AS DESCRIBED OR FAULTY IN ANY WAY. A REFUND WILL NOT BE GIVEN IF YOU SIMPLY "CHANGE YOUR MIND" - Unfortunately, recently, I have had a few occasions where people have changed their mind due to colours and looked to me for their shipping costs back to me - PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU DECIDE TO KEEP YOUR GOODS!
