A very stylish Italian designed and manufactured power cruiser sports boat of high specification. Just 5 years old, registered June 2004. Owned by us from new. Guaranteed to thrill and excite the new owner, as it has our family & friends.
This is a scarce boat in England, hardly ever seen in this country, the engines though are Mercruiser, so easily serviced. Salpa is a small family owned company who produce a low number of high quality boats, and there is currently no distributor in the UK. Parts though are readily available for everything from engines to water heater, pumps etc.
Lying Deganwy, N Wales at Deganwy Marina, (next to Conway), and can be seen clearly from the footpath if you wanted a casual look, being on the nearest row to the path on the left hand side. Berthed here from new.

One of the best practical features of this boat is the separate forward master cabin, and second rear double cabin, leaving a self contained galley amidships. This is not normally found on boats under 34 feet. 8 berth, if you don't mind being cosy, though ideally a 4 berth for comfortable living for a week or more. Rear cabin converts from 2 singles to a double.
Engines - 2 x MD 706 MH 230 hp 6 cylinder D tronic Mercruiser (VM supplied) Diesel - modern economical reliable and very powerful engines. These were supplied directly by VM, the Italian firm who supply Mercruiser with their engines, so they are effectively unbadged mercruisers, and obviously use all the Mercruiser spare parts.
My engines are MD 706 MH - the new version of this engine currently produced is the MD 706 LX which is almost identical. See links below.
Category A - rated as ocean going, with water-tight doors to all cabins and self righting hull - though we have never put this to the test. This rating is usually only ever seen on 40' + boats, and then by no means all of them.

The first 12 photos are library photos, after that, all photos are of our actual boat, taken at various times.
Visit the SALPA website http://www.salpa.com/ - they show the 32.5 now in their range (our boat is the 31.5), which is almost identical (note small extension to bow) - take a virtual tour it is almost indistinguishable. We have just bought a holiday appartment close to the Marina, and don't need the living accomodation on board any more.
Equipment briefly includes; Full Webasto heating in all 3 cabins, 2 ring gas hob in galley, single gas hob outside - ideal for cooking fish, double sink in galley, single sink outside and in bathroom, shower in bathroom and on bathing platform,- hot and cold to all taps, microwave, cd with several speakers, fridge, water heater, 2 new very heavy duty (expensive) batteries, stainless steel anchor, electric windlass, 3 bilge pumps, holding tank & macerator, 2 x 50 gallon fuel tanks, 150 litre water tank, Electric sea toilet & bidet. Raymarine C80 chartplotter, radar, trim tabs, outdrive trim, spotlight, compass, Raymarinre speed & depth, specialist adjustable crane davits, large quantities of storage space, sunbathing pad for foredeck, VHF, full bimini covers plus a tonneau, and much more .
This is a very heavy boat of 6 tons plus, and is built for its strength and seagoing capabilities rather than racing, so even with these large 6 cylinder engines, its max speed in ideal conditions is around 30 knots max (more than fast enough), but we find 20 knots is a very comfortable gentle cruising speed for her. She could probably be re proped to produce more top speed, but at present she leaps out of the water very nicely and quickly on to the plane.

Photos below showing boat with outdrives removed for servicing
Photo below shows helm with RAYMARINE C80 chartplotter removed - we do this for security when leaving the boat - it takes seconds to remount.
Photo below - There is a large purpose made sunpad that fits in the well below, with a removable circular section to allow porthole access - secures by means of poppers / press stud catches.
Viewing strictly by appointment - sea trials only conducted after deal agreed subject to sea trial and surveyors report.
This boat is crammed with superb little innovative storage solutions, you cannot fail to be impressed with the clever use of space the designers have implemented. We have not been able to photograph all of them by any means.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - The boat has already had a major service on the engines & outdrives earlier this year, and a complete check of everything else mechanical that the engineers felt needed checking, and if neccessary replacing, ie belts etc. We are confident she will be handed over in good running order. Comprehensive copies of the complete service record for this work can be provided.
