hand painted thangka

i understand that these paints are silk or cotton

the writing on the back is the enpowerment as a sacred object

thank you to the ebay member

who corrected me it is very well done

it is full of buddhist symbols

this is totaly original

and has some age

but dont know how old it is

A Thangka is a painted or embroidered banner which was hung in a monastery or a family altar and carried by lamas in ceremonial processions. In Tibetan the word 'than' means flat and the suffix 'ka' stands for painting.
