The G60 uses a boost re-circulation system which is mainly for emissions and noise reasons , it feeds unused boost back into the supacharger at the same time soaking your air filter in oil & misting up the inside of ur intercooler which isnt good, the unused boost is roaring hot and not so useful as good old fresh air in terms of 02 content
this kit replaces all that thus resulting in charger only drawing fresh cold air(much better for performance ) and running cooler,prelonging the life of your charger
the recirculated air is dumped by the dump valve (no bad emissions)and u get a nice big woosh on each gear change.
