A Stepmother for Susan of St Bride’s by Ruth Adam. A novel based on the popular character of Susan Marsh, from Girl comic. First edition published by The Hulton Press 1958. Enjoyable story in which Susan has difficulty with a new colleague, then finds out that her father may marry her. Yellow boards, very good. Black & white frontis. Unclipped, protected dustwrapper has slightly faded spine and some creasing at the top. Name written on title page, otherwise a clean copy. Overseas buyers: Paypal only, please.
