Russian Leica Copy Camera

 


 

You are bidding for one of the best Russian cameras Zorki-4K that was very popular as an export variant of Zorki-4, indentical to it, but with specific setting level. It is one of Leica camera copy. The cameras were produced in 1974

JUPITER-8  is Soviet interchangeable lens designed for FED, Zorki,Leica, Leningrad and other compatible rangefinder photo cameras.The Jupiter-8 is a postwar copy of the prewar Zeiss Sonnar 50mm f/1.5 for the Contax. Originally made by KMZ for Arsenal's Kiev Contax copy, KMZ later produced its own version in L39 mount for its Zorki camera series. No complaints about the image quality. Soviet optical factories had a tradition for sharp optics, and Jupiter-8 is no exception.
Is also said to be a good color optic.
