Haversack - backpack - travel pack, for  hiking and global travel


  • Advertised as a travel pack because it is designed for travel by air, coach etc
  • incorporated robust harness cover zips over all straps, belt etc, so damage by airline handlers unlikely, and very easy to carry in 'travel pack' mode
  • amazing versatility, excellent design
  • many features normally found on much larger packs
  • adjustable back system allows male / female / various fittings to fit well
  • comfortable padded hip belt places weight on hips rather than shoulders, shoulder straps also comfortable
  • detachable 20 lit daypack, also well designed, roomy, securely zipped; clips neatly onto 50 lit pack
  • front opening and separate base opening, which allow to whole of pack's contents, so tipping it all out isn't necessary!
  • colour: black with navy trim 
  • used once only for return flight only for bulky clothing, not used at destination (studying), so in mint condition
  • found much more comfortable than other sacks used
Since choosing this with much care, I have been advised against carrying anything on my back, alas.
