Liquid latex for making skin moulds by dipping, pouring, spraying or painting, masks, for special effects or Halloween, adhesive for textiles and much more. It will not work very well for slush casting or foaming. Supplied to professionals in UK Film & Special Effects by us.

This liquid latex was manufactured by a top quality supplier of liquid latex. We import in bulk and pass the savings directly to you! Latex is a free trade commodity and is liable to variable price. Our latex contains up to 60% rubber solids!

BEWARE : Most latex sold on ebay has at least 10% less rubber solids in it!

Why not ask your supplier to prove their rubber solid content to you? Do they even know how to?

The net result of less latex solids is more layers and more time to make your mould. For making moulds, simply paint on, allow to dry and then paint again. Continue until the desired thickness is achieved, just a few millimetres is fine. Dust down with talc or soapy water, de-mould and cast into it! Use a bed of sand or plaster support case to prevent deforming.

BEWARE the seller who dilutes his latex! This is possible and it does happen! This can be achieved with water, ammonia, talc and a variety of other medias!

This latex does not come with any thickener, but is available in five sizes other than this bulk form; 250ml, 500ml, 3 litre, 1 litre or 5 litre are available. Item will be supplied in 25 litre jerry can not the five litre shown in picture below. Rest assured its brand new and heavy duty.

Use caution buying a pre-thickened latex. You dont really know whats in it. If you use the wrong kind of thickener like talc or wallpaper paste, you will ruin its properties. For this reason we NEVER pre-thicken and allow our customer to choose their own method, or indeed use our Liquid Latex Thickener.
