This is a superb large Royal Worcester Bowl beautifully handpainted with fruit by the artist Thomas Lockyer. It is perfectly painted with Apples and Cherries on a mossy ground. The is a lovely shape with a gilded wavy rim on a raised and gilded pedestal foot. Measures an impressive 8" inches wide x 3.5" inches deep. Condition is excellent, no damage or repairs. This is a stunning piece!! Base is clearly marked with a puce coloured Royal Worcester stamp and date coded for 1930. The bowl is clearly signed T Lockyer.
