 This is an original/genuine  "Royal Navy / Army"  Divers Knife & Belt, made by John Nowill & Sons Ltd, Sheffield England. The belt has a brass buckle and brass eyelets, the knife is 12 3/4 inches long, with a rubber handle, the knife is in very good condition but the belt and sheath are showing that they have been used as some of the eyelets are missing.  This type of Knife was issued to Military Divers ( SBS, Royal Navy Clearance Divers, Ships Divers, Royal Engineer Divers and SAS Divers during 1970's-1980's), this would make a great addition to a collector of Military & Siebe Gorman Diving memorabilia.  Some of the names used for these type of Diver's were Hard Hat Divers,Cork / Bubble Head, Brass Hat Divers, Pond Life, Heinke Divers and Standard Divers to name but a few.
