About the Item: 

This Auction is for one Royal Albert 'Old Country Roses' pattern Sandwich Plate Server ~ made in England.  Popular and versatile platter is equally at home on your dining table, on the dresser, or on the display cabinet.  The backstamp identifies this item as being made in a  traditional English pottery.  Factory 1st quality (the backstamp is intact and NOT scratched or scored through ~ which is how Royal Albert identify 'seconds' and something you should watch out for).  In excellent previously cherished condition with no chips (there may be some very small nibbles to the base foot), no cracks, and no crazing.

The 22ct gold (gilding) is bright and lustrous ~
