Roman Period Silver Intaglio Ring

The intaglio is a reproduction, hand carved from stone.
The ring is genuine circa 1st-2nd Century Roman
The Ring minus stone was originally found in Europe during the 1980's
The owner had the stone made and seated in the ring.
If had not of told you all of this, you would be convinced the stone and the ring had been
together since the beginning.
