Rolex Midsize Oyster Perpetual No-Date 1973 BiMetal

I have recently bought this watch off ebay (it will be in my feedback so please feel free to have a look at the description that I bought it from - I am a little bitter) as it was for a Christmas present and in its current condition it is not a viable option as I would like to remain married.

This is a very worn watch. It is original- I had it checked out by Peplows of Worcester who confirmed it is a Rolex. The only thing which they said wasn't is the bezel.

Bad Bits

The Glass is scratched (this is a 35 year old watch)

The bezel is not original

The Bracelet has untighted over time- although is original.

I cannot comment on the workings as I have not a tool to open the back

Good Bits

It is a genuine Rolex

Model Number 6751 (between lugs at 12.00)

Serial Number 4108xxx which makes it 73/74 (between lugs at 6.00)

It works fine with a sweep movement

I would say this is a restoration project or a Rolex for someone who wants a very cheap but real Rolex- but I would not give as a gift to someone who I liked in its present condition. I am being as honest as I can - I just wish the seller who I had purchased it from had been aswell (still bitter)

I have been trawling the internet and cannot find a similar one so imagine they are quite rare.

It has a genuine Rolex box though certainly not the one it came in the 70s but you are welcome to that
