You are looking at a fantastic example fo the greatest drum machine ever made for electronic music including house and techno. The roland 909 drum machine has been used by practically every great electronic producer/band in the last 20 years including daft punk, underworld to name but a couple, and practically every house track and techno track since the early days of chicago house. It produces such a fantastic sound that is incomparable with any of the sample cd's available today. There is truly nothing like the sound it punches out. I wont go into the details as im sure if you are looking at the item, you know what the 909 can do. Even after more than 24 years, this unit still packs a punch that is unrivalled.

This unit in particular produces a crisp sound, and has a slight cosmetic dent on the top faceplate. This can be seen on the close up photo below. It is purely cosmetic, does not affect performance in anyway, and isn't really noticable to be honest.

I have used this 909 on my own productions, and feature on my latest cd. I reluctantly have to sell the 909, but financial situation demands it. If i had the choice i would keep this forever. It will be sadly missed in my studio. Im sure it willmake itself welcome in yours. It turns out only 10,000 of the 909's were made in the mid-80's, and it is rare that one comes up for sale, especially one sounding as good as this one. So you should definately take the chance to purchase this unit.

The 909 comes with a european plug, uk plug, german manual (photocopy), and english manual (pdf on cd).
