The Roland CD-2E is a simple-to-use SD card/CD recorder and writer. You can record live music directly onto a CD-R (up to 74 minutes per 650MB disc) or CD-RW (up to 80 minutes per 700 MB disc) disc or you can copy recordings previously made (maybe made using an Edirol R09-HR or other similar recorder using their 44.1 kHz 16-bit wav settings) from a SD card onto an audio CD. You can check your recording levels before starting recording by listening using the on-board speakers or using headphones.

NB: Whilst you can record to SD card under battery power, you need mains power to record to CD
