 Florentine-born Roberto Cavalli is the grandson of Giuseppe Rossi, the illustratious Florentine impressionist painter. Though he followed family tradition and went to the Arts, he also decided to make his own name in fashion, using his inborn talent to create clothes.
 
 Known for his work in leather, Roberto Cavalli is a master craftsman who has also mastered the technique of using leather both as a fabric and for use in accessories.
