Ritza Braided Polyester 1mm Saddlery Thread, 3m approx.

This is approximately 3 metres of 1mm diameter braided polyester saddlery thread; ideal for DIY saddlery repairs. Why pay a saddler (and spend the time waiting!) for a job which you could do yourself?

Bought an old saddle on eBay and not sure if the tree, girth webs and straps are sound? Or just want to renovate it before use or resale? Or have one that's been lurking at the back of the tackroom / garage / attic for a few years and want to use or sell it?

3 metres of this thread will be enough to stitch a saddle's panel back on, with some to spare. I recommend this type of thread for panel work, as it runs easily through the holes, doesn't tangle on itself, and is very easy to work with. If you order more than one (3m) item, it will be sent as one coninuous length of thread.

Do note that photographs can't show you an exact colour match - what colour appears depends on the colour balance of the photo, the light it was taken in, the colour balance of your computer, and even the angle you're looking at your screen from!

This is dark brown thread, approximately this colour.
