Risk Assessment/Management Software - Health and Safety

When I was required to perform risk assessments I looked around for some software that could help me. I found either over the top applications costing hundreds of pounds or amateur efforts based around excel templates. Neither were appropriate for a small to medium sized enterprise.

Drawing on my 25 years experience as a software engineer I decided to write my own risk assessment program and iRisk Pro is the result. All software needs a solid foundation so I bought in the very best professional SQL database that I could find and built iRisk Pro on top of it.

Here are the main screens of iRisk Pro.

This is the top level window, it lists the projects on the left. Each assessment is part of a project.

This window summarises the Congleton Factory project and shows the number of assessments and risks identified.

Here we can see the assessments that have been carried out for drilling machines at the Congleton Factory.

We can see the specifics of the risk and what measures have been identified to reduce the risk.

The Reports tab gives you access to all the assessments within a project.

You can adjust the risk matrix to meet your definitions of low and high risks.

The database window allows you to take backups, restore and even network multiple copies together to share the assessments.

We aim to post the same day as payment is made. We post 1st Class so you should get your cd within one or two days. To keep our prices as low as possible we send the CD in a plain card cd mailer. The manual is on the cd.
