Ricoh GR1v Camera with GR 28mm f2.8 lens *Totally Mint*

For (reluctant) sale is our beloved Ricoh GR1v compact 35 mm camera.  We have a passion for cameras and unfortunately, to keep funding upgrades means we have to say goodbye to some. We adore this little camera - so much so we drove half-way across the country to buy the last one available!!

What can I say about this camera – it is nothing short of a design classic with a legendary lens. This is the original film version which was and is a cult classic of the compact camera world.  Especially in Japan – these are highly sought after and fetch large amounts of money. Please grab this one while you still can!

The Ricoh GR1v has high-quality optical glass with seven multi-coated lenses in four groups with aspherical elements. There is superb colour reproduction with a high level of distortion correction.  We all know the problem of the 28mm end of a zoom lens and the noteworthy distortion.  With the GR1v you simply don’t get this.

It is such a beautifully put together little camera with a magnesium alloy body and lens that is reckoned to produce results on a par with Leica M lenses.  The quality and sharpness is simply outstanding.

The condition of this camera reflects our love and respect for it, i.e. it is in absolutely mint condition.  I mean this.  Not a single mark or scratch.  It really does look like it came straight out of its box i.e. as new.  It comes with an original Ricoh case, the original box, instruction manual, lens hood which can be attached if there is strong backlighting and original Ricoh lens hood bag. All accessories are also in totally mint condition.

Ricoh still service these so in the event of a problem, its good to know there’s still parts available.
