Rich Brown French St Clement Majolica Oyster Plate

This rich brown St Clement oyster plate has a diameter of 10" and is in excellent undamaged condition.  Lots of oyster plates get nibbles around the well rims thru clumsy stacking and this one has just a minute nibble as seen in photo 3 bottom right corner.
It has a typically rich, thick brown glaze over ochre which gives a warm depth of colour.  these brown St Clement plates are robust and if you want a pair they must be shipped seperately ( cheaper shipping ) as together they weigh over the 2kg airmail limit and would have to go by courrier post ( more expensive ).

There are other oyster plates currently on offer on this site including an identical one of these.
